This was my first attempt at creating a map. This map has multiple flaws that make it generally unplayable. Firstly it doesn't mesh well with the player controller and physics, making it hard to navigate and awkward in the small corridors and rooms. It's also generally too enclosed for the player to have fun jumping around or building up speed.
I will be scrapping this level as it doesn't give off the vibe I want and will require too much tweaking to be feasible in our time scale.
First Iteration (The Tower)

Level currently features 3 primary buildings as well as a large subterranean basement connected to the central tower. The rooms are large but empty. This gives the player room to jump but obviously the map feels plain and uninteresting. It also features my first textured models, shipping containers and a barrel. I would like to expand this side of the map into a construction site.
The basement needs more entrances as anyone stuck there can only exit through the main tower which will likely be a hotspot and too dangerous for players without any good weapons.
The stairs on the detached tower are also very difficult to scale which is an issue.

This iteration has a few additions to make the gameplay more interesting and fun. Primarily, the basement has a few more entrance points to avoid the chance of people getting trapped down there

This iteration is easily my best. The basement system is much less claustrophobic and gives the player many more options and paths to explore. It also irons out the issue of the player getting stuck or camped under the map. The topside of the map also features a boxed-out construction site which creates a new point of interest for the players. I also connected the third central tower to the main tower to allow the player a new way up and decrease the chance of someone being able to sit in one spot and camp.
